The Ventev Wallport rq2300 Wall Charger supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 technology to rapidly charge Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 enabled devices like the Nubia Z17 phone by ZTE.
When connected to one of the USB Type-A ports of the Ventev charger that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge, the Nubia Z17 trickle charges at 5 volts in the first 10 seconds when the phone is 7% charged.
The phone is then seen to draw around 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps) and later around 13.8 watts (5.3 volts @ 2.6 amps) after 40 seconds.
However when plugged into the other USB Type-A port of the charger which is not enabled with Qualcomm Quick Charge, the Nubia Z17 appears to pull around 7.5 watts (5 volts @ 1.5 amps) from the charger.
The Ventev Wallport rq2300 Wall Charger is able to charge the Nubia Z17 using Qualcomm Quick Charge but at a lower power level compared to when using the phone's own Qualcomm Quick Charge based charger.
