The Apple iPhone 12 Pro removes chargers from its box but it still charges the fastest over USB Power Delivery.

Using the GRL-C2 USB PD Tester as a 100W USB PD Charger and GRL-PSP Power Analyzer software from Granite River Labs, we can see that it takes about .9 hours to charge to 80% and 2.1 hours to charge to 100%.  At about 29% battery, we start seeing the iPhone 12 Pro start to reduce USB power consumed from 20W to 10W periodically to cool down the phone's temperature, keeping the phone's maximum temperature below 43 degrees C.  At 80% battery, a much longer break is taken to further reduce the battery temperature before the phone starts charging gradually again to reach 100% battery.
