Apple made its first Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter to provide USB Power Delivery charging for Apple Macs but the charger can also be used with other non Apple PC's like the Huawei MateBook (check pricing on Amazon) which also supports USB Power Delivery technology.

The Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter starts communicating with the Huawei MateBook over USB Power Delivery by showing that it supports 12 watts (5 volts @ 2.4 amps) and 29.6 watts (14.8 volts @ 2 amps) power profiles.

We observe the Huawei MateBook at 4% charged battery first requests 14.8 watts (14.8 volts @ 1 amps) from the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter.

After the Apple charger provides this 14.8 watts of power to the Huawei MateBook, the laptop then requests 29.6 watts (14.8 volts @ 2 amps) allowing it to charge much faster.

We can confirm that the Huawei MateBook can charge with the Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter over USB Power Delivery by pulling around 25 watts (14.7 volts @ 1.7 amps) from the Apple charger while at 4% battery level on the Huawei laptop.
