The Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 is one of the most powerful graphics cards made by EVGA and on par with other similar products like the NVIDIA Titan X that support DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0. Compared to the earlier EVGA GeForce GTX 960 with DisplayPort 1.2, the Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 can now take advantage of the newer DisplayPort 1.4 to support 8.1 Gb/s per lane which at 4 lanes provides 32.4 Gb/s of throughput in contrast to the DisplayPort 1.2 which supports 5.4 Gb/s per lane. DisplayPort 1.4 also supports Display Stream Compression 1.2 to provide 8K (7680×4320) at 60 Hz with 10-bit color and HDR, or 4K (3840×2160) at 120 Hz with 10-bit color and HDR.

We purchased the EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 to have a closer look which has the same GeForce GTX trademark logo on its box as the  EVGA GeForce GTX 960 that we previously bought.

The EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 has only a single fan that supports ACX 2.0 cooling technology as compared to the EVGA GeForce GTX 960 which came with two fans.

The EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 not only uses the same NVIDIA's new Pascal GPU architecture as the Titan X but also HDMI 2.0 which only supports up to 4K at 60 Hz resolutions and HDR.

The interfaces on the EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 include PCIe 3.0, DVI-D, DisplayPort, and HDMI.

To install the EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060, you need to use a motherboard supporting PCIe 3.0 or below with one graphics slot as well as a 6-pin PCIe power connector and Windows 7+ OS.

The EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 came with a CD-ROM containing the NVIDIA drivers, 6-pin to 8-pin adapter, and user documentation.

For serious gamers, the EVGA Superclocked GeForce GTX 1060 is a good choice to experience 8k@60hz gameplay with high quality and faster graphics performance on up to 4 connected displays.
