The dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger and LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) both support charging over USB Power Delivery so let's see how well they work when connected together with the PC's battery being well charged.

Looking at the USB Power Delivery negotiations between the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger and LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016), the charger advertises its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 30 watts (15 volts @ 2 amps). The PC requests only 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps) from the charger which it accepts.

As charging goes on, the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger declares that it supports not only the 3 power profiles it initially declared but also a fourth power profile of 30 watts (20 volts @ 1.5 amps). The LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) again requests to pull 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps) which is accepted by the charger.

While the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger charges the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) with the notebook's battery being already well charged, we can see that 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps) is being drawn from the charger.

The dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger doesn't seem to be able to really charge the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) over USB Power Delivery.
