By selecting the phone option in the Music screen, the Tesla Model X allows you to play music from services such as Google Play from an Android phone like the Huawei P10 using Bluetooth.

While you can play/pause and go to the next song using either the Tesla controls, we often found that the audio would only emanate from the phone instead of the car's speakers.  

  

The only way we found to resolve this issue was by rebooting the Huawei P10 and/or resetting the Bluetooth connection on the phone.

This Bluetooth related bug is unfortunate since you can't use USB to play music from your phone to the Tesla Model X and appears to be a common occurrence with the Huawei P10. This adds to the list of compatibility bugs between the Huawei P10 and the Tesla Model X including where connecting the phone to charge over USB can crash the Tesla display.
