Asus joins the rank of top players in the gaming segment when it unleashed the futuristic looking ROG series, specifically designed for hardcore gamers.
Supporting Full HD Gaming, the Asus ROG Strix GL502VM is an amazing gaming laptop, displaying up to 1920x1080 screen resolution in its 1.2-inch frame. But the main highlight of this 15.6-inch notebook is the Nvidia GTX 1070 with 8GB of video memory. More common in larger gaming PCs, the ROG Strix GL502VM neatly packs the powerful graphics card into its compact and lightweight design. It is bundled with the 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ CPU and 16GB DDR4 RAM of memory speed (2133 MHz).
The ROG Strix GL502VM is equipped with the latest Intel 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and storage capacity of 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD. You can find all modern ports like three USB 3.1 Gen 1s, one USB 3.1 Gen2 over Type C, HDMI 2.0 and mini DisplayPort on the ROG Strix GL502VM, except for the Thunderbolt 3 port, which is unfortunately not included. The mini DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 ports are capable of driving external 4K monitors at 60 Hz.
Excitedly we unpacked the ROG Strix GL502VM from the box to take a closer look.
The only accessory we found was a 19.5V @ 9.23A (180 watts) AC power adapter.
On the right side panel of the ROG Strix GL502VM, you have the audio in/out port, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, an SD card slot and the Kensington lock.
Meanwhile the left side panel contains the AC power input, Ethernet (fold-out), mini DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen2 (10 Gb/s) over Type-C ports.
Portable and stylish with stunning features and specifications make the ROG Strix GL502VM a truly remarkable gaming laptop for all gamers.
