The Razer Blade Stealth supports Thunderbolt 3 which means Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s), USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s), USB Power Delivery, and DP 1.2 are all supported using the same USB Type-C connector. We were excited to try the Razer Blade Stealth with the Plugable USB-C SATA Hard Drive Dock which also supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 over USB Type-C.
Unfortunately, once we plugged the Plugable USB-C SATA Hard Drive Dock to the Razer Blade Stealth, we saw an error message stating 'USB device not recognized'.
We could also see in the Windows Device Manager that a USB enumeration issue occurred with the Plugable USB-C SATA Hard Drive Dock.
We tried several Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C cables but found the same problem.
