The LG G5 supports DisplayPort 1.2 over its USB Type-C connector. This means you can use it with USB Type-C docks like the Dell USB-C to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB 3.0 Adapter (DA200) which allows you to connect to a TV or HDMI based display.
To see if the LG G5 works with the Dell USB-C to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB 3.0 Adapter (DA200), we first connected the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class to the Dell USB-C to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB 3.0 Adapter (DA200) using a HDMI cable.
The Dell USB-C to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB 3.0 Adapter (DA200) has a tethered USB Type-C cable which we then inserted into the LG G5.
Fortunately, we were able to immediately see the screen of the LG G5 on the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class confirming it works.
The USB Power Delivery transactions appear normal with the LG G5 providing some power to the Dell USB-C to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB 3.0 Adapter (DA200) and the DisplayPort Alternate Mode successfully entered.
