The Mi Notebook Air 13.3" is expected to enjoy optimal charging over USB Type-C using its own Xiaomi MiBook Charger that comes with the laptop.
Plugging in the Xiaomi MiBook Charger to the Mi Notebook Air 13.3" using a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, the charger starts to communicate USB Power Delivery with the laptop at 3% battery level by offering an initial 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps) power profile.
The Mi Notebook Air 13.3" is observed to request only 5 watts (5 volts @ 1 amps) from the charger which it accepts.
We then observe that the Xiaomi MiBook Charger promises to deliver additional 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps), 24 watts (12 volts @ 2 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 65 watts (20 volts @ 3.25 amps) along with its initial 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps).
The Mi Notebook Air 13.3" proceeds to take advantage of these additional power profiles by requesting the maximum 65 watts (20 volts @ 3.25 amps) which the charger then accepts.
On a 3% charged battery, we can see that the Mi Notebook Air 13.3" starts charging to around 47.8 watts (19.9 volts @ 2.4 amps) while it's turned off.
As it gets closer to 1 minute, the Mi Notebook Air 13.3" is then switched on and is observed to pull around 59.7 watts (19.9 volts @ 3 amps) from the Xiaomi MiBook Charger.
As expected, the Mi Notebook Air 13.3" works well with its own Xiaomi charger using USB Power Delivery.
