The Micromax Canvas Knight 2 can be easily set up to work with the Google Chromecast (2015). Make sure that you have connected the Google Chromecast to one of the HDMI ports of your TV and powered on the Chromecast by attaching the USB cable to a TV USB port or a USB power adapter. You also need to make sure your TV is powered up and the HDMI input of your TV is the same port that you connected the Chromecast to. First you need to go the Google Store to download and install the Chromecast App. After you have downloaded and opened the App, it will search for the Chromecast you are trying to set up and actually directly connect to the Chromecast over WI-FI.
Next in Devices, select Set Up under the Chromecast that you are using. You can then change the name of your Chromecast and start the pairing process between your Micromax and the Chromecast. You need to select I SEE THE CODE, and enter in the code that you see on the lower right part of your TV screen.
The Chromecast App will then allow you to select the Wi-FI network that you want the Chromecast to connect to.
From here the Chromecast is ready to be used on any application like YouTube that uses Chromecast. Once in YouTube, just select the Chromecast icon and select the Chromecast that you want to cast to. If you select multiple videos, they just add to a queue of content that will be played through your Chromecast.
Chromecast is a low cost way for Android phones from companies like Micromax to show their content on the TV or PC Display. It's fun to use and great especially if you are a heavy YouTube user.
