Huawei has given the MateBook tablet its own 24W USB-C Power Adapter for fast charging over USB Type-C using USB Power Delivery technology.  Let's see how well both the tablet and charger perform when connected, with the tablet's battery at 4% full.

The 24W USB-C Power Adapter can be seen to offer 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps), 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps), and 24 watts (12 volts @ 2 amps) to the Huawei MateBook over USB Power Delivery.

The Huawei MateBook then requests to pull 12 watts (12 volts @ 1 amps) from the charger which it accepts.

Later we see the Huawei MateBook requests and eventually settles on the maximum PDO of 24 watts (12 volts @ 2 amps) with the charger.

On a battery level of 4%, the Huawei MateBook is observed to charge at 24 watts (12 volts @ 2 amps) from its own charger.

As expected, the Huawei MateBook is able to charge fine with its own 24W USB-C Power Adapter over USB Power Delivery.
