AKiTiO is a major player in Thunderbolt, having developed Thunderbolt products since the early days of the technology. With Thunderbolt now moving to Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s), AKiTiO has gone all out in showing a full suite of new Thunderbolt 3 products at NAB 2016.

AKiTiO Thunder3 Duo Pro is the world's first Thunderbolt 3 RAID based storage device in the market and provides two USB Type-C ports that you can use to connect Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s) PC's and daisy-chain other Thunderbolt 3 devices. The AKiTiO Thunder3 Duo Pro also has a USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) port to connect PC's that only have USB.  In addition, there is a DisplayPort output to conveniently connect to a monitor.

For serious professional users needing the ultimate in storage performance and capacity, AKiTiO offers a Thunderbolt 3 based 4U rack mount T34U-3509 storage device, including SAS RAID and 8 drive slots.

AKiTiO also showed off the Thunder3 Quad, a 4-bay storage enclosure with two Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s) ports and a DisplayPort output.

Related to the Thunder3 Quad is the Thunder3 Quad Mini, a 4-bay storage enclosure for 2.5" drives with two Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s) ports and a DisplayPort output.

For those wanting high-performance storage, AKiTiO also showed off the Thunder3 PCIe SSD which includes an Intel SSD and can achieve Read speeds of 2500 MB/s and Write speeds of 1200 MB/s.

If you want something portable, AKiTiO has a Thunderbolt 1 (10 Gb/s) Palm RAID which comes with a pre-attached Thunderbolt cable and includes 2 mSATA SSD's to achieve high transfer speeds of up to 714 MB/s.

If you want to use eSATA drive bays, AKiTiO's Thunder SATA Go comes with a pre-attached Thunderbolt cable and lets you connect two eSATA drive bays to a Mac.

Apart from storage, AKiTiO has a wide range of other Thunderbolt networking adapter and dock products.

AKiTiO showed their Thunder3 NBase Network Adapter, which lets you add NBase-T (10 Gb/s, 5 Gb/s, 2.5 Gb/s, 1 Gb/s, 100Mb/s) network connectivity.

This Thunder3 NBase Network Adapter is a follow-on to the Thunderbolt 2 based Thunder2 10G Network Adapter, which supports 10GBase-T networks.

AKiTiO announced right before NAB 2016 the T3T, which lets you attach Thunderbolt 3 devices to all the Thunderbolt 2 hosts in the market. This is especially useful for Mac users, given all the Mac's supporting Thunderbolt in the market today.

For those needing a Thunderbolt 2 based dock, AKiTiO has the Thunder2 Dock that lets you attach more USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s), Firewire 800, and eSATA devices to your Mac.

AKiTiO also showed a full suite of USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s) devices over USB Type-C, and their commitment to Thunderbolt and USB Type-C technologies was on full display at NAB 2016.
