After finding a lot of issues with the j5create JUCX03 USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-C Cable purchased at Best Buy, Nathan K was helpful enough to find another j5create cable model, the j5create JUCX01 USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-C Coaxial Cable, from Amazon.  The j5create JUCX01 USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-C Coaxial Cable uses the USB certification logo and we can confirm here that a company called 'Magic Control Technology Corp.' has certified a product called JUCX01.  

Using a USB Power Delivery test tool from Granite River Labs (screenshots above), we could confirm the e-marker in the cable declares the cable to be from Magic Control Technology Corp and that it supports USB 3.1 Gen 2.

When using the JUCX01 between the OWC Type-C Dock and the Apple MacBook (Early 2016), we found no problems like we did with the JUCX03.
