The Microsoft Lumia 950 pairs well with the Microsoft Display Dock to enable Windows PC-like functionality through your Windows phone.

While the Microsoft Lumia 950 connects to the Microsoft Display Dock over USB Type-C, the Display Dock offers a DisplayPort 1.2 port to connect to external monitors, and an HDMI 1.4 port to connect to TV's like the Samsung Smart LED TV.

To use the Display Dock, make sure that you power the Dock by connecting the Dock's USB Type-C port (located next to the DisplayPort connector) to the USB Type-C power adapter that came with the Display Dock.

Once power is connected to the Display Dock, but when the Lumia 950 is not yet connected, you will see a red light on top of the USB Type-C connector designated for the Lumia 950.

Once the Lumia 950 is connected, and the external display is successfully enumerated, the light will turn white.

On the Samsung Smart LED TV, make sure you select the HDMI input into which the Display Dock is connected.

On the Lumia 950, you can select the Continuum App to create a Windows PC experience on the Samsung Smart LED TV.

With Continuum, the Lumia 950 becomes a touchpad for the PC desktop that you see on the Samsung TV.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 works well with the Microsoft Display Dock and looks great on the Samsung Smart LED TV.
