Unlike virtual reality systems like the Sony PlayStation VR which can be used with any PlayStation 4 system, you need to make sure you have the right Windows PC that can be used with the HTC Vive VR Headset.  You can try to build your own high performance gaming PC that tries to meet the specs required by the HTC Vive VR Headset. or you can simply choose any of the HTC Vive ready PC's which have been tested to work with the headset.
