The Beats Solo3 Wireless uses Apple's new optimized W1 chip for headphones that also powers the Apple AirPodsBeatsX Earphones, and Powerbeats3 Wireless.

Through the W1 chip, the Solo3 Wireless enjoys 40 hrs of battery life, potentially up to 100 meters of wireless range (if paired with a Class 1 Bluetooth device), and fast charging (3 hours of use with 5 min of charging).

The Solo3 Wireless can be folded together to make it more compact and easier to store.

When fully opened up, you can adjust the Solo3 Wireless headset length to accommodate different sized heads.

The Solo3 Wireless has several buttons to control it with.  The left earpiece contains a button with the Beats 'b' that allows you to play and pause a song.  If you hold down this button, you can call up Siri.   Around the 'b' button is an outer ring that you can use to adjust the volume up or down.

The left earpiece also contains a microphone as well as a 3.5 mm audio connector if you want to used a wired connection instead of wireless.

The right earpiece contains a micro USB connector for charging as well as the Bluetooth pairing button.
