The Microsoft Lumia 950 is one of the few smartphones in the market today that supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) speeds.  You can take advantage of this when you need to transfer really large videos or other files from the Lumia to another device.  If you want to transfer your files to a USB flash drive like the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0 you can use Belkin's spec compliant USB-C to USB-A Adapter to connect the drive to the Lumia.  This Belkin adapter supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) speeds, enabling your Lumia 950 to transfer files at lightning speed with the SanDisk drive.

The easiest way to move files around in the Lumia 950 is to select the tile on the left side of the main screen containing popular shortcuts like alarm, calculator, and file manager.  After the tile expands, select the file manager icon and you'll see the recent files moved or copied on file manager screen.

Select the horizontal lines on the top left representing the menu, and you'll see the devices with file systems you can open.  If you select This Device, you'll open the editable files folders on the Lumia 950.  If you select Removable Disk, you will see the file folders on the SanDisk Drive.

The icons on the bottom allow you to select files, create new folders, copy files, move files, look at files using grid image view, search for files, etc.  For Windows users, navigating the file manager is very intuitive.

With the help of USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) speeds, files transfer in no time from the Microsoft Lumia 950 to the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive 3.0.  You can use the Belkin USB-C to USB-A Adapter to connect to other USB 3.1 Gen 1 flash drives with a USB Type-A plug.  However, keep in mind many bus powered rotating hard drives like the Seagate Seven Portable Drive can't be used since they require more power than the Lumia 950 can provide.
