DLNA technology allows you wirelessly play content on your Xiaomi's Mi Box from the Samsung Galaxy S6 products like the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Make sure that both the Mi Box and the Galaxy phone are on the same WI-FI network.
On the Galaxy S6 Edge, swipe down from the top and select Quick Connect. The Mi Box supports both Miracast based screen mirroring and DLNA based media streaming so select the icon which looks like a horizontal TV monitor with a smartphone in front of it.
After selecting the icon, then select Play/view content. You'll then be asked to select if you want to play an image, video, or audio file.
If you select Video, you'll be taken to a library showing your videos. After selecting your video, it will start streaming to the Mi Box.
On the Mi Box, you'll see the video transfer speed and buffering progress. Once buffering has stopped, the video will start displaying.
Depending on your WI-FI quality, you may see lags in the video playing. If you continue to have problems, try using Miracast instead to wirelessly mirror your Galaxy's screen to the Mi Box.
