Apple came out with their new and improved Apple TV (2015) which includes SIRI integration and an easier way to navigate using touch with the Apple TV remote.  Sometimes though, it's still easier to use an iPad like the iPad Air 2 to find what you want to see but then use the Apple TV to share it with your friends and family. To connect your iPad with the Apple TV, first go to the Apple TV Settings.  In Settings, select Airplay->Security->Password and input in a password. After the password has been set up on the Apple TV, on the iPad swipe from the bottom of the iPad screen to bring up the Control Center.  In the AirPlay section of Control Center, select the Apple TV. If you want to mirror your iPad's screen to the TV connected to your Apple TV, turn on Mirroring in the same AirPlay window and you'll be asked to input in the password that you set on the Apple TV. If you want to play videos from iTunes on the iPad to the TV connected to the Apple TV, go back to the AirPlay settings in the Control Center and turn off Mirroring.  While you play any video from iTunes on the iPad, the video will play instead on the Apple TV. With the new Apple TV has improved performance and user interface, it has kept tight integration with the iPad Air 2 which will delight many Apple users.
