Amazon Makes It A Little Easier to Find 4K HDR Enabled Shows

In the past, Amazon Prime made it harder for its users to find content that was 4K HDR capable (click here for review).

However, recent changes at Amazon has made it easier to identify whether content supports HDR also what type of HDR since some 4K TV's may only support HDR10 vs Dolby Vision versions of HDR.

Fortunately on the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class, both versions of HDR are supported.  When using the Amazon App on this TV, we can see that the popular 'The Man In The High Castle- Season 2' shows HDR, which means that HDR10 is supported.

Other shows like 'Bosch- Season 2' support both HDR10 as well as Dolby Vision (as indicated by the Dolby Vision icon).

It's interesting that Amazon doesn't put a symbol in the same area that is shows HDR to 4K content.  To determine if content is 4K, you need to either look at the content's title where it shows 'Ultra HD' or on the thumbnail image of the content in the browsing menus.
