The TomTom Multi-Sport Watch collects a lot of GPS data when tracking your sports activities so eventually you need some way to upload that data from your watch. In additional to being able to sync the data over USB to a PC, the Multi-Sport Watch can also sync over Bluetooth with your smartphone like the Huawei P8.
On the Huawei P8 you first need to download the TomTom MySports App from Google Play.
Once you open the MySports App, you can then press Tap To Connect to start the pairing process with the TomTom Multi-Sport Watch.
In order the find the TomTom Multi-Sports Watch, you first need to get the watch in pairing mode by going into Settings->Phone->Pair New.
As part of the pairing process the watch will provide a PIN code that you need to then input into the Bluetooth pairing request screen.
Transferring data from the TomTom Multi-Sport Watch to the Huawei P8 is automatic. After the transfer is done, the App then automatically uploads the data into your TomTom online account. The sync speed may feel slow but eventually after a few minutes the sync will be complete.
Once you open the MySports App on the Huawei P8, the App will automatically connect to your TomTom Multi-Sport Watch and transfer data. Sometime it make take a few minutes to start this connection but eventually the connection goes through.
