Since the Apple iPhone X supports 7.5W based Qi wireless charging, let's see if you can use it with the Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand that also provides max 7.5 watts of charging through Samsung's branded Fast Charge Wireless Charging technology.

We first connect the 15W based Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC) Charger to AC power before plugging into the Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand. The wireless charging stand originally comes with the AFC charger accessory to keep itself charged. When we place the iPhone X on the Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand, the iPhone starts charging from a fully depleted battery. Looking at the power trace on the Granite River Labs GRL-USB-PD-A1 analyzer, the highest power is briefly drawn up to about 7.8 watts (5.2 volts @ 1.5 amps) in the first minute of charging when the iPhone is off (assuming the wireless charging stand also consumes own power at plugin). The current is then subsequently being pulled at slightly lower level but when almost 60 minutes, the iPhone is turned on to charge up to around 7.3 watts (5.2 volts @ 1.4 amps).

It's nice to see the Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charging Stand can support certain Qi enabled Apple based products like the iPhone X as well as its own Galaxy S8 (from this review) for wireless charging. Although only slightly faster, the 7.5W Qi charging speed is still better than  standard 5W from the iPhone X's own shipped charger.
