The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is an affordable way to get both Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ and wireless charging technology on a single phone. Through Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is able support USB Power Delivery 3.0, PPS (Programmable Power Supply), and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology over USB Type-C. This is a major upgrade over Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 only supports for charging.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 also comes with a newer and faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and Adreno 630 GPU which is also similar to the Xiaomi Mi 8. When compared to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 offers a higher 256 GB RAM memory, better Super AMOLED HDR touchscreen, additional 12MP telephoto rear camera, and dual pop-up 24MP and 2MP front cameras.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 ships with a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 AC power adapter despite the phone also supporting USB Power Delivery, like with most Xiaomi phones. Other accessories include a USB Type-C to Type-A cable, SIM eject tool, clear soft case, documentation, wireless charger, and a USB Type-C to 3.5 mm audio adapter that is useful to connect to your traditional audio headphones from the phone's USB Type-C port. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 also happens to be one of the first few phones that ship with a wireless charger.
The Xiaomi USB Type-A based charger supports power profiles of 12.5 watts (5 volts @ 2.5 amps), 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps), and 18 watts (12 volts @ 1.5 amps) for charging out.
The Xiaomi wireless charger shipped with the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 supports up to 10W wireless charging even though the phone will only pull up to the standard 5W Qi BPP profile. The wireless charger has a USB Type-C input port which you can connect to the Xiaomi AC charger using the supplied USB Type-C to Type-A cable. The wireless charger supports power profiles of 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps) and 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps) for own power supply.
