The AUKEY PA-Y7 USB Type-C Wall Charger offers fast charging using USB Power Delivery technology over its USB Type-C port up to 29W. Let's see how this third party charger delivers USB power to the Nintendo Switch Console on a fully depleted battery.

With Joy Con controllers being attached to either side, the Switch Console is plugged in with the Aukey charger directly over the USB Type-C port. The charger is observed to declare USB Power Delivery profiles of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 29 watts (14.5 volts @ 2 amps).

The Nintendo Switch Console starts to request a typical 7.25 watts (14.5 volts @ 0.5 amps) from the Aukey charger which it accepts.

Later we see the Switch Console requests to pull the maximum PDO of 29 watts (14.5 volts @ 2 amps) which the charger also complies.

Here we verify that the Nintendo Switch Console with both left and right Joy-Con controllers installed initially pulls around 0.8 to 1 amps at 14.6 volts when its battery is at 0%. After the Console is turned on and simultaneously running active gameplay, the power pulled goes up to the 14.6 to 20.4 watts band (the Console consumes more power used to support the Joy Cons and active gameplay). The AUKEY PA-Y7 USB Type-C Wall Charger performs similarly to the Nintendo Switch AC Adapter as seen in this review.
