Google's Daydream View is a budget version for those that want to experience virtual reality without having to spend the big bucks for the Oculus Rift or HTC VIVE.  While the Daydream View comes with a wireless handheld controller like the Oculus Rift, its headset doesn't come with audio speakers like in the case of the Oculus Rift.

Playing audio over the phone's speakers is easy but isn't ideal if you want better audio quality or don't want to disturb others.  You can use wired headphones but it can be a bit awkward and distracting to have a wire hanging out the side of your head.

A good solution to this is to use wireless headphones like the Solo3 Wireless.  Virtual reality experiences are immediately more immersive and you definitely want to use these if you are playing a movie in a virtual cinema environment.

Make sure you pair the Solo3 Wireless first with the phone using Bluetooth before putting on the Daydream View headset.  There is no way to pair the Solo3 Wireless while using the Daydream App.  Note the Google Pixel, one the phones that works with the Daydream View, works well with Solo3 Wireless as seen in this review.

Also make sure to wear the Daydream View headset before putting on the Solo3 Wireless.

Once you put on the Solo3 Wireless with the Daydream View, everything in the real world is blocked out as you get totally immersed into virtual reality.  Make sure that you are using the Daydream View in a safe place since you can't see or hear anything in the real world at this point.

The black Solo3 Wireless looks good with the slate version of the Daydream View and matches well when worn together.
