The LG UltraFine 5K Display is the first Thunderbolt 3 display in the market and is sold primarily in the Apple Store but that doesn't mean it only works with Thunderbolt 3 based Mac's.  Here we'll try out the LG UltraFine 5K Display with the Razer Blade Stealth Windows gaming notebook PC.

We connected the LG UltraFine 5K Display to the Razer Blade Stealth using the Thunderbolt 3 cable supplied with the display.

Since the LG UltraFine 5K Display is considered a Thunderbolt device, we selected 'Always Connect' when the Approve Thunderbolt Device pop-up window came up.

We could also confirm that the LG UltraFine 5K Display enumerated as a Thunderbolt device in the Attached Thunderbolt Devices window.

Going into the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel, we could confirm that the LG UltraFine 5K Display could only achieve 4K (3840 X 2160) @ 60hz resolution due to the limitations of the internal Intel GPU used by the Razer Blade Stealth.

We could aso confirm that the LG UltraFine 5K Display's USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) ports were accessible by the Razer Blade Stealth.

LG UltraFine 5K Display works well with the Razer Blade Stealth and you can enjoy the high degree of color accuracy and wide gamut as long as 4K@60hz is all you need.
