The Bamboo Fineline is touted as being able to work with iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad so after having problems using it with the Apple 10.5-inch iPad Pro (as seen in this review), we tried using the stylus with the iPhone X.

Given that the Apple Pencil only works with the iPad Pro, Apple doesn't have their own stylus solution for their iPhone's.

We first looked for the Bamboo Paper App on the iPhone but it appeared to only be available for the iPad. There didn't seem to be any Wacom Apps to use the Bamboo Fineline with the iPhone.

We then tried the Bamboo Fineline using Apple's native Notes App. The results were not positive where we could only write half the letters in a sentence using the Bamboo Fineline.

We also downloaded the Microsoft OneNote App where we were able to use the Bamboo Fineline for simple sketches but not writing.

However, there didn't seem to be a way to use the Bamboo Fineline to draw or write on the OneNote App.

The only thing it seemed that we could use the Bamboo Fineline for was to write Chinese characters using the iPhone's multi-language input feature. Using a finger though seemed to be a lot more natural for writing Chinese characters on the iPhone.

Since we had problems using the Bamboo Fineline with both the iPhone X and 10.5-inch iPad Pro, we decided to eventually return the item.
