The Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ based Nubia Z17 can use either USB Power Delivery or Qualcomm Quick Charge based chargers through its USB Type-C port. This allows the phone to stay charged by many different chargers including the AUKEY PA-Y7 USB Type-C Wall Charger supporting USB Power Delivery.

However when connected over the USB Type-C interface, the Aukey charger doesn't appear to communicate over USB Power Delivery with the Nubia Z17 phone from zero charge.

Looking at the power graph, the Nubia Z17 starts off drawing current at 5 volts and eventually draws around 7.5 watts (5 volts @ 1.5 amps) from the Aukey charger when the phone's battery is fully depleted at 0%. Unfortunately, the Nubia Z17 is unable to charge at a higher power level using USB Power Delivery.
