The Belkin USB-C to VGA Adapter allows devices which use DisplayPort over USB Type-C to connect to VGA displays. Here we can see that the Chromebook Pixel (2015) is able to use the Belkin USB-C to VGA Adapter to connect to an ASUS VGA monitor.
However, when we use the same setup with the Samsung Galaxy S8, we see a lot of flickering issues as the phone can't maintain a stable image on the VGA display.
The VGA display repeatedly turns off and then turns on again while trying to establish a stable display enumeration.
With other VGA monitors, we sometimes see no display enumeration at all.
Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S8 doesn't appear to work well with the Belkin USB-C to VGA Adapter.
