The latest Moto-series phones seem to have issues with wireless display mirroring to the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV since Miracast but not Chromecast is not supported on this TV while Moto seems to have gone away from supporting Miracast to only support Chromecast enabled displays and adapters. We encountered this problem with the Moto G4 Plus in an earlier review but this time we observed the same problem with the Moto Z Droid.
To start the wireless display process, we initiated the setup from Settings -> Display -> Cast.
The Moto Z Droid will then start to search for any available Chromecast displays or adapters nearby and should detect the Samsung 4 Series (32). However, the Moto Z Droid could not find any Chromecast devices to connect to.
