Many of the latest Mac's and Android mobile devices only offer the USB Type-C interface, and to connect a USB Type-A device you may want to use the Moshi USB-C to USB Adapter.

The Moshi USB-C to USB Adapter allows you to connect a USB Type-A peripheral like a USB flash drive or mouse to a Mac or PC that supports USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 technologies. The Moshi adapter should be able to support USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) speeds over USB Type-C. However don't expect any USB Power Delivery function since it relies on signals not available on the USB Type-A connector.

The Moshi USB-C to USB Adapter is coated in aluminum silver that is very compatible style-wise to the Mac.

You can see more product information behind the packaging.

The Moshi USB-C to USB Adapter is bundled with only a warranty card since the USB Type-C cable already comes tethered to the adapter that is used to connect to your USB Type-C based computing device.

The Moshi USB-C to USB Adapter offers a single USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) based Type-A port to a USB Type-C based computing device for data. Any USB data peripheral like a USB storage drive or hub connected to the adapter's USB Type-A port should be accessible by the computing device. You can also connect your tablet or smartphone using another compliant USB cable to the adapter's USB Type-A port for charging or data syncing.

The Moshi USB-C to USB Adapter doesn't take up a lot of space which you can easily bring along with your Mac or other computing device that supports USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 while on your travels.
