The Miracast wireless screen mirroring technology enables you to display the contents of your LG Google Nexus 5X on to a compatible display monitor like the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV easily. But with the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV, the LG Google Nexus 5X fails to connect. 

Here we try to set up the LG Google Nexus 5X with the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV. First, we go to Settings -> Display -> Cast.

   

The LG Google Nexus 5X will start to search for any available Miracast-supported display nearby and should detect the Samsung 4 Series (32) but it could not find any devices.

Note that we could connect devices directly using 'Wi-Fi Direct' but a Miracast connection continued to fail.

  

  

Strangely enough, the LG Google Nexus 5X shows that it is connected, but nothing is displayed on the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV. This confirms that screen mirroring cannot be enabled between the two devices.
