Tile has become synonymous with smart location technology which allows you to find your Tile devices and mobile phones using Bluetooth Low Energy, GPS, and crowd sourcing technology. After original models like the Tile which introduced users to the concept, Tile released improved and differentiated models like the Tile MateTile Slim, and even fashionable designs like the Tile Sport and Tile Style.

Despite making the Tile models slimmer and more compact, some people still find it inconvenient to connect a Tile to their devices. To address this, Tile has partnered with companies like KeySmart to embed Tile technology directly into products like the KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location.

KeySmart has been known for its innovative key chain designs which turns your key chain into a Swiss Army Knife styled organizer, allowing you to keep your keys organized in a compact space without the pocket budge and jangle that you get with traditional key chains.

The KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location takes this concept one step further by now adding Bluetooth Low Energy based Tile technology, so you never have to look for your keys again. The KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location comes with a rechargeable battery which KeySmart  claims to last for three months on one charge. The battery is used to power the bright LED light at the tip of the KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location.so you can use it as a small flashlight.

The KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location comes with a USB Type-A to Micro-B cable used to recharge the battery from a computer's USB Type-A port or USB Type-A based AC power adapter.

There is a small latch on the side that flips up to reveal the USB Micro-B port that is used to connect the cable.

The LED flashlight and Tile connect buttons are located on one end of the KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location.

Although not entirely high-tech, one must-have feature of the KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location is the included bottle opener.

To add keys to accompany the bottle opener (or remove the bottle opener to make more space) you need to unscrew the two main screws connecting the two halves of the KeySmart's main body together. This takes more time that just adding you keys to a traditional key chain but this investment in time is well worth it.

After first taking off one screw, you can insert your keys between the black washers which separate the keys out. There are five washers in each side, allowing you to add up to 5 keys (or 4 keys and the bottle opener) per side.

The only tricky thing about setting up the KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location is that you need to align the keys holes and washers together so that the main screw can go through them all.

You can then repeat the same process with the second main screw on the other end of the KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location.

KeySmart gives you a ring to connect your car keys. This ring is actually at the other end of the bottle opener and we found that using it with car keys causes too much physical interference with the other keys and bottle opener, making it difficult to use the keys especially in tight spaces.

It's much more effective to just add the car keys around one of the screws so that it's not directly connected to the bottle opener or any key, thus preventing any interference.

KeySmart started with an innovative way to organize your keys and now with the KeySmart Pro with Tile Smart Location, you can use your phone's Tile App as well as Alexa and Google Voice Assistant enabled devices to find your keys quickly when rushing out the door.
