While sold by macsales.com, the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter can also be used for certain other Android phones with USB Type-C like the LG G6.

The NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter supports USB Power Delivery charging over its USB Type-C port up to 60W. We will observe how well this external charger works with the LG G6 phone that also supports USB Power Delivery through its USB Type-C port.

The USB Power Delivery negotiations show that the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter constantly declares its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps) to the LG G6. The phone then requests 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps) from the charger which it accepts.

While on a fully depleted battery, the LG G6 can be observed to charge at 16.2 watts (9 volts @ 1.8 amps) but the current eventually drops to 1.5 amps after a while. 

This shows that the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter is able to charge the Android based LG G6 phone using USB Power Delivery technology.
