Portway Technologies has made the 30W QC4+ Charger supporting Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology to conveniently provide USB Power Delivery 3.0, PPS (Programmable Power Supply), and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 based charging over the USB Type-C interface. When tested charging the  Motorola Moto G6 phone over USB Power Delivery, it took around 104 minutes for the phone to get fully charged.

With a dead battery on the Motorola Moto G6 which additionally supports Lenovo's proprietary TurboPower quick charging scheme besides USB Power Delivery 2.0 over USB-C, we connected the phone to the Portway 30W QC4+ Charger using a USB Type-C to Type-C cable. Upon plugin, the phone initially charged up to near 15 watts but progressively pulled lower power when reaching the first 70 minutes of charging. The current level then further  ramped down to about .1 amps as the battery almost filled up. Click here to download the trace captured by the GRL-A1 power analyzer to see more details on the entire power charging cycle.

It's nice to see an alternative charger such as the Portway 30W QC4+ Charger able to charge the Motorola Moto G6 a bit faster using Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ in contrast to about 109 minutes the phone took with its own TurboPower 15W charger.
