NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter is sold by macsales.com primarily for Mac's but it can also be used by Windows based PC's like the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) which has a USB Type-C port that supports USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB Power Delivery, and DisplayPort.

The NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter supports USB Power Delivery based charging up to 60W. We will observe how well this third party charger supplies power to the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016).

The USB Power Delivery negotiations initially show that the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter declares its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps). The LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) then requests to pull 40 watts (20 volts @ 2 amps) which is accepted by the charger.

While the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) is being charged on a fully drained battery, the current can be seen to charge to near 2 amps at 20 volts.

It's good to see the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter can charge Windows based PC's like the recent LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) using USB Power Delivery technology.
