The Robolink Codrone has its own remote controller but it also allows control from a mobile device over Bluetooth 4.0. Let's see how it works on a tablet like the 9.7-inch iPad Pro using the ByRobot Petrone mobile app.

To set up the Robolink Codrone on the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, you should first download and install the Petrone App from the Apple App Store.

After opening up the Petrone App, you will need to sign in with your Petrone account or create a new one if you don't have one already.

You will also need to power on the Robolink Codrone with its battery fully charged and well inserted into its battery slot.

To start pairing the Robolink Codrone with the App, first make sure the green LED light at the bottom of the Robolink Codrone is blinking. Also ensure you turn on Bluetooth on your 9.7-inch iPad Pro. 

Select the model of the Robolink Codrone you want to control for the App to start the pairing process with the drone. 

When detected the Robolink Codrone will show up in the Petrone List which you will need to select. Then select the Connect button to start the connection process with the 9.7-inch iPad Pro over Bluetooth. In the meantime make sure to also bring the iPad close to the CoDrone.

Once connection is successful, you can start using the App to control the Robolink Codrone by choosing any of the available play modes or selecting the flight or drive mode at the top drop-down bar. 

Also notice that the green LED light behind the Robolink Codrone should stop blinking and remain on when connected.

You can also perform other settings and firmware update for the Robolink Codrone by selecting the side Menu button.

To update firmware, select the My Info button on the menu and select 'Update' to start the firmware update process.

When firmware update is completed, it should display the latest version number. 

It is quick and easy to set up and connect to the Robolink Codrone which works well with the Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro over Bluetooth 4.0.
