The VR ready MSI 14-inch GS43VR Phantom Pro Notebook comes with a Thunderbolt 3 based USB Type-C port which can support dual 4K@60hz displays over DisplayPort 1.2. Let's see how the MSI 14-inch GS43VR Phantom Pro Notebook can be used with the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter to attach two external DisplayPort displays like the LG UltraFine 5K Display and the LG 31-inch Digital Cinema 4K 31MU97 Monitor.

Using standard DisplayPort to standard DisplayPort cables, we connected the LG UltraFine 5K Display and the LG 31-inch Digital Cinema 4K 31MU97 Monitor with the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter.

Once inserting the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter into the MSI 14-inch GS43VR Phantom Pro Notebook, we accepted adding the new Thunderbolt device in the pop up even though external displays connected through the Plugable adapter still work regardless.

Going into the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel, we were able to set both the LG UltraFine 5K Display and LG 31-inch Digital Cinema 4K 31MU97 Monitor  at 4K (3840 X 2160) @60hz.

Hence we can confirm that the Plugable Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter worked well with the MSI 14-inch GS43VR Phantom Pro Notebook to connect the LG UltraFine 5K Display and an LG 31-inch Digital Cinema 4K 31MU97 Monitor using 4K@60hz resolutions.
