The Sony Bravia Android TV is great when you want to stay within the Google Android universe but that doesn't mean you can't use the iPhone to play YouTube videos directly to the Bravia.

It's easy to cast YouTube from your iPhone 6S to the Bravia.  YouTube is already installed on the Bravia so the only place you need to install YouTube is the iPhone.

To install YouTube on the iPhone, go to the App store, search for YouTube and install it.

Once the app is installed, you will be asked to sign in. Can you either sign in or continue as a guest.

Now you can see a cast screen icon at the top right corner of the iPhone. After selecting the cast screen option, you will see a pop-up window listing all available devices you can connect to.  Select the Sony Bravia 4K TV model number from this pop-up

You'll then see another pop-up from which you can either play immediately or add the video in the current play queue.  The YouTube video will then be played on the TV rather than the iPhone.

YouTube has a rich content library and in countries like India, you can watch for free almost any TV channel and previously aired program episode.  You can then use the iPhone 6S as an easy to use remote to watch any India TV program like you would with Hulu and Netflix for US based shows.

YouTube also has a lot of 4K content which looks great on the Sony Bravia 4K LED TV and all easily searchable on the iPhone.
