The BatPower PD6 power bank can use Qualcomm Quick Charge technology in addition to USB Power Delivery. Let's see how Qualcomm Quick Charge works between this power bank and the Samsung Galaxy S8 phone which supports Samsung's proprietary quick charging scheme as well as USB Power Delivery for fast charging over the USB Type-C interface.
The BatPower PD6 power bank supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 through its orange USB Type-A connector which we use to connect to the Samsung Galaxy S8's USB Type-C port. We can see that the power bank initially supplies about 6.5 watts (5 volts @ 1.3 amps) to the Samsung phone when 9% charged and turned on. After 40 seconds, the phone looks to be charging at around 5 watts (5 volts @ 1 amps) which is the power that the Samsung Galaxy S8 draws when it is on. When the phone is off, it draws more power.
