The RAVPower Xtreme 26800mAh Portable Charger with Type C Port + 30W Type-C AC Charger combo includes a 30 watts USB Type-C AC Charger accessory as well as a portable battery, both of which support USB Power Delivery. We look at how well USB Power Delivery works when this AC charger is used to charge the portable battery when directly connecting them with a USB Type-C to Type-C cable.

For starters, the charger accessory advertises its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) from which the battery requests to draw 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) which the charger accessory accepts.

A reset occurs early on after the battery declares its own power profile of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps).

After the reset, the same process repeats which is then followed by attempts to identify the connected device.

The charger accessory goes on to offer not only three power profiles it initially declared but also an additional power profile of 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps).

The battery in turn requests to draw 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps) which its charger accessory then accepts.

However, with the battery charge level being already full, we see that the current pulled is around .1 amps.

We can confirm that the RAVPower Xtreme 26800mAh Portable Charger with Type C Port + 30W Type-C AC Charger's AC charging accessory will charge its portable battery quickly using USB Power Delivery technology.
