To see if you can quickly charge your LG G5 phone using the BatPower PD6's AC Adapter, we'll observe how the BatPower adapter sets up a USB Power Delivery contract with the LG G5 which also supports USB Power Delivery charging.

You will need to connect the BatPower PD6's AC Adapter to the BatPower round to rectangle connector adapter to the BatPower USB Type-C Adapter and finally to the LG G5 to start charging the phone from a fully drained battery. The BatPower PD6's AC Adapter claims to support 90W but the adapter can be seen to negotiate with the LG G5 over USB Power Delivery by constantly displaying 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 36 watts (12 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) and 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps) power profiles.

The LG G5 after some time finally requests 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps) from the BatPower PD6's AC Adapter which it accepts.

On a fully drained battery, the LG G5 starts pulling around 9 watts (5 volts @ 1.8 amps) but then trickle charges at around 9 volts before settling at about 11 watts (9.2 volts @ 1.2 amps). The BatPower PD6's AC Adapter can use USB Power Delivery to charge the LG G5 at over 10W which the phone mostly gets from other USB Power Delivery based chargers like the Ventev Wallport pd1300 Wall Charger (in this review) and Apple 87W USB-C Power Adapter (more details here).
