The Henge Docks Stone can be used to charge Apple based devices including the 10.5-inch iPad Pro using both USB Power Delivery 2.0 and non USB Power Delivery charging. To see how the 10.5-inch iPad Pro gets charged without using USB Power Delivery, we connected to the non USB PD enabled USB Type-C port at the back of the Stone supporting up to 10.5 watts charging using the Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable

Interestingly, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro when at 2% battery charge could be seen to pull about 11.8 watts which is more than the rated 10.5 watts from the Stone. 11.8 watts is also similar power that the iPad can get from its own 12W charger. However, it's better to take caution to avoid  overheating that might potentially occur during charging.
