The ZTE's Nubia Z17 was given its own Nubia Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 Charger but you can also use this charger to power other USB Type-C and Power Delivery enabled devices like the Google Pixel phone.

The Nubia charger can supply 18 watts (12 volts @ 1.5 amps), 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps) and 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) of charging through its USB Type-A port.

When we first connected the Google Pixel with the Nubia Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 Charger using a USB Type-A to Type-C cable, starting with a fully depleted battery the phone took around 2 hours and 10 minutes to fully charge. Note no USB Power Delivery contract is established given that the USB Type-A connector generally doesn't support USB Power Delivery.

During the initial plug in the Google Pixel from zero charge started off drawing 5 watts (5 volts @ 1 amps) from the Nubia Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 Charger. After 2 minutes, the Google Pixel started to draw 10.5 watts (5 volts @ 2.1 amps) from the Nubia charger. After 40 minutes of charging we turned the phone on and while the phone was active the Google Pixel charged by pulling 5 watts (5 volts @ 1 amps) or 7.5 watts (5 volts @ 1.5 amps) before going back to drawing 10.5 watts (5 volts @ 2.1 amps) when the phone went back to inactive mode.

After 80 minutes of charging, the current pulled started to gradually drop down from 2.1 amps and eventually reached 0.2 amps as the phone's battery became full.

Overall it took about 134 minutes to fully charge the Google Pixel with the Nubia Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 Charger.

While the Google Pixel only managed to pull power at most 10.5 watts over the entire power charging cycle, the phone is still able to charge with the Nubia charger despite the phone using USB Power Delivery and the Nubia charger uses Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 for fast charging.
