In addition to Samsung's owned Adaptive Fast Charging, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ also supports USB Power Delivery 2.0 to quickly charge with other compatible chargers like the Verizon USB Type-C Wall Charger with Fast Charge Technology. We observed charging of about 127 minutes for the Verizon charger to fill up the Samsung phone's dead battery using USB Power Delivery.
When initially connected to the Verizon charger, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ at 0% battery achieved close to 13 watts of steady state charging. After charging for about 65 minutes, the current started to ramp down to eventually reach near to zero as the battery was almost full.
