The Hama .75m HDMI 2.0b Cable is another variant of the Hama .75m High Speed HDMI Cable that comes without ferrite core materials. The rest of the specs are similar for both cables such as HDMI 2.0b, 4K Ultra HD (4K@60Hz), HDR, 18 Gb/s, 1440p and 1080p HDMI signal frame rates, 3D video output and 100 Mb/s Ethernet.
Unfortunately we tested the Hama .75m HDMI 2.0b Cable to find that it is not working for 18 Gb/s resolution.
Using the GRL DI20 cable tester to test the insertion loss (IL) through the Hama .75m HDMI 2.0b Cable, we can see the cable has about the same overall signal integrity performance when compared to the Hama .75m High Speed HDMI Cable even though they are the same length. Note the green trace line refers to the Hama .75m HDMI 2.0b Cable while the blue trace line refers to the Hama .75m High Speed HDMI Cable. The Hama .75m HDMI 2.0b Cable however has lower loss under 10 GHz compared to the Hama .75m High Speed HDMI Cable.
