Google has come out with the Pixel Stand to secure your Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones in a solid dock which can also be used for charging and supports Google Assistant for voice commands. The Pixel Stand supports the Qi wireless charging standard up to 10W to charge Qi enabled Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL when the phones are docked. You can also use Google Assistant voice commands with the Pixel Stand to cast movies or video though your Chromecast to your TV or other smart home devices like Nest to monitor and control lights, thermostats, locks, security systems, and power outlets in your home.
Here's how the Pixel Stand looks like after we bought and removed from its box.
The Pixel Stand comes with its own 18W USB Type-C AC power adapter along with a USB Type-C charging cable to connect to the power adapter for own power supply. The power adapter supports USB Power Delivery based charging using power profiles of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) and 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps).
On the bottom of the Pixel Stand is a USB Type-C input port that can connect to the 18W power adapter accessory for charging.
