The dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger uses USB Power Delivery to charge various PC's and phones that also support USB Power Delivery like the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017). Let's see how well the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger performs with the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) over the PC's USB Type-C Port which supports Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 Gen 2, DisplayPort, and USB Power Delivery technology.

We can see from the USB Power Delivery negotiations between the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger and the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) that the charger declares its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 30 watts (15 volts @ 2 amps). The Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) then requests to pull 30 watts (15 volts @ 2 amps) which the charger accepts.

The dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger later declares that it supports not only the 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 30 watts (15 volts @ 2 amps) it initially declared but also an additional power profile of 30 watts (20 volts @ 1.5 amps). The Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) proceeds to request that 30 watts (20 volts @ 1.5 amps) which is then accepted by the charger.

As the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017)'s battery gets closer to being fully charged, we can see that the PC is being charged at 18 watts (20 volts @ 0.9 amps) before the current starts to fall steadily to about 0.3 amps at 20 volts as the battery is almost full.

We can confirm that the dodocool 30W USB Type-C PD Charger is able to charge the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) using USB Power Delivery.
