Note that Cable Matters does not use the USB-IF certification logo on the packaging of the USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Cable (1 m).

Using the GRL DI20 cable tester to test the insertion loss through the Cable Matters USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Cable (1 m), we can see minor violations of the USB specification limits. The Cable Matters USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Cable (1 m) also has higher loss across different frequencies compared to the Comkia USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Cable (1 m).
